Petticrows goes East, Moscow Boat Show
For the first time in the history of the shipyard since its
foundation more than 100 years ago, Petticrows went REALLY
East and participated in the International Moscow Boat Show,
that has just taken place from 12 till 17 March.
Moscow Boat Show is one of the relatively young fairs on
the maritime market, celebrating its 6th anniversary this
year. The show has again proved to be as emerging as the whole
Russian economy, almost doubling its exhibition area compared
to the previous year and counting more than 350 exhibitors
from 17 different countries.
Petticrows was present on the most extended stand of Russian
Sailing Federation, where it represented the Dragon at its
best for the Russian Dragon Association, which also made its
premiere this year at the boat show. The Dragon was fully
rigged and trimmed «ready to win», inevitably
inviting the passing guests to make a prolonged stop and enjoy
a most gripping tour of the boat from the Olympic Champion
of Atlanta Igor Matvienko, who came to Moscow to support the
strive of the Russian Dragon Association to promote the most
beautiful of all monotypes.
To make the image perfect, the RDA invited nobody less renowned
than the Bavarian loft of Fritz-Segel , to represent its winning
models on the rigged Petticrows Dragon, thus the three altogether
building a perfect partnership and best image of the ideal
boat to explor the magic world of sailing.
With the participation in the Moscow Boat Show the Petticrows
shipyard announces the foundation of its official dealership
for Russia and CIS, based in Moscow and St.Petersburg. From
now on all present and perspective clients of the shipyard
will enjoy even more personalized service having their Petticrow
partner on site and being able to communicate in their mother
tongue, let it be new boat, spare parts order or boat care
and maintenance.
